By using SemesterMath you agree to these terms. They are short and in plain English.

What the calculators are

SemesterMath’s calculators are free tools that estimate grades and GPAs from the numbers you enter, using the grading scales and formulas described in our methodology. They are not official. Your school’s registrar, transcript and syllabus are the authority on your grades, and schools’ rules differ from the ones used here. Check anything important, such as eligibility for a scholarship, a program or graduation, with your school.

No guarantee

We test every calculator and check every source, but the site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of a result, or for any loss arising from using the site, to the extent the law allows.

Using the site

• You may use the calculators for any personal or classroom purpose.
• Please don’t overload the site with automated requests, try to break its security, or copy large parts of it to republish as your own.
• Links to other websites, such as the sources of our grading scales, are for reference. We don’t control those sites.

Content

The text, design and code of SemesterMath belong to SemesterMath. Short quotes with a link back are welcome.
